This morning I went for weekend brunch at Cluny in the Distillery District. The whole menu sounded delicious but I decided on the Waffles Carnival (fresh berries, Chantilly cream, bourbon maple syrup, cotton candy). I don’t usually choose sweet over savoury, but I absolutely loved this choice! It is not only visually appealing but it tastes great too. Everything worked really well together, and it wasn’t too sweet. I also really liked the strawberry jam that came with the Morning Pastry Experience – not sure if they make this themselves.
This place seems to genuinely care about the quality of their food. I definitely want to come back to try more.
